The case teaching is a kind of teaching method that according to the certain teaching goal, through organizing,deliberating,providing certain scene and choosing inspiration typical cases makes students understand and grasp the theory knowledge, and proves their relate ability and comprehensive quality."Senior Middle School Geography Curriculum Standard"has explicitly proposed that it must change the students'studying way, so geography case teaching has positive significance to geography curriculum reformation. Teachers should fully displays the superiority of case teaching according to the new geography curriculum teaching goal,course content,teacher situation and the student characters. Also, teachers should culture the geography scientific accomplishment through revolving the geography scientific knowledge,geography scientific method,geography scientific ability,geography scientific emotion,manner and values,geography scientific spirit,geography science and relation of geography technology and society.In this paper, it is instructed based on the idea of new curriculum reformation,theory of geography education and teaching,modern theory of geography study and system theory.
