Investigation And Study About Situations Of Students Using The New Mathematics Curriculum

Since national Ministry of Education promulgated the document《the full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard (experiment )》, many standard mathematics experiment teaching material have been published . The Ministry of Education have been checked and approved the junior middle school mathematics teaching materials, published by East China Normal university publishing company, Beijing Normal University publishing company, and the people education publishing company, which have been used in all the country. So we think that it is necessary and value that the situations that students use the new mathematics curriculum are investigated and studied during the studying.According to 1368 students'investigations and studies, who come from 4 schools in Jiamusi District ,Heilongjiang Province, we obtain the situation about the junior students using the new mathematics curriculum published by the people education publishing company . Now, we work according to the following several aspects. Students'overall satisfaction to mathematics new teaching material (as to two kind of edition); The column that most students like during the study mathematics new teaching material; The reason that the using new teaching material students like the new teaching material; The most popular teaching method during the study the mathematics new curriculum; The burden situation actually for students who study mathematics new curriculum; Changes in the faith, manner and emotion aspects which form during the study new curriculum. Based on the above investigations, we can draw three conclusions ,namely, the majority students are satisfied with the mathematics new teaching material; the new teaching material exercises are valuable; the columns《Exploration》and《reading material》are most popular to students. Finally, the paper takes some concrete proposals to teachers, the editors and the charge department of education.
