Since national Ministry of Education promulgated the document《the full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard (experiment )》, many standard mathematics experiment teaching material have been published . The Ministry of Education have been checked and approved the junior middle school mathematics teaching materials, published by East China Normal university publishing company, Beijing Normal University publishing company, and the people education publishing company, which have been used in all the country. So we think that it is necessary and value that the situations that teachers use the new mathematics curriculum are investigated and studied during the teaching.According to 79 teachers'investigations and studies, who come from 12 schools in Jiamusi District ,Heilongjiang Province, we obtain the situation about teachers using the new mathematics curriculum published by the people education publishing company . Now, we work according to the following several aspects. The understanding and experience to the mathematics new curriculum standard understanding; Satisfying degree of using the mathematics new teaching material; The using situation of each column, sample questions and exercises in the new teaching material; The level of dependency of the teaching material for teachers. According to the above investigations, we can draw four conclusions, namely, the majority teachers are satisfied with the new teaching material published by the people education publishing company, but have not arouse sufficient regard as to the topic in the new teaching material; The examples and exercises are used completely, and the massive contents are added; There is no significance difference to using the new teaching material among the different background teachers; There is a large dependency on the using the new teaching materials for teachers. Based on the above facts, we take some concrete proposals to teachers, the editors and the charge department of education.
