The political lesson of senior high school is an abstract and theoretical subject. Students have little interest in this lesson. This paper tries to figure out the reasons why this situation came into being. Analyzing through the teaching, the writer finds that the reasons are unchangeable teaching way, simple teaching model, poor teaching language and old teaching cases, which can not arise the students' interest in studying political lesson. Meanwhile under the influence of the examination-oriented education, the students depend on the teachers excessively in the classroom teaching, but has no self-set up process of constructing knowledge. Therefore conducting problem teaching in political lesson, creating a problem situation, completely stirring up the students to study, arising the students' positivity of study, developing their thought, cultivate their sense of problem and their ability to integrate theory into practice are very important.And with the development of the information highway and the technique of the multimedia, the foreign research on this area will pay more attention to developing the students' self-study ability, thinking ability and life-long study ability by using the modern teaching ways as well as future discussing the experience and value of the problem teaching. In China, while the government puts the new curriculum standard into practice, the education for all-around development, which concerns fostering the students' creative and practical ability, and the creative education, which aims at encouraging the students to create, will be the leading role in education. The sense of the problem teaching has already been put into all middle school subjects theories and teaching practice, but we lack of the systematic theory and practical teaching plans.The research on how to apply this theory to the senior high school political teaching is rare. The main content of this paper is the application of the problem teaching in political lesson of senior high school. The research methods are: literature review, comparison and practice analysis, On the base of referencing and consulting relative theories and other subjects research, this paper does some research on the application of the problem teaching in political lesson in the point of the character of the political lesson. This paper is made up of seven chapters. The first chapter simply states the current development of the political teaching in middle school and analyzes the future of the political teaching.Chapter two introduces the definition of the problem teaching.
