Teacher motivation is one of the essential proposition of college management , and always being a question on which every country in the world focused. Theory and research about teacher motivation in China and overseas, has enriched our education management theory greatly, and provided a certain theoretical guidance for our education management practice, however, by overlooking these theories, there're such conditions as following, more about overseas, less about China, more theoretical, less demonstrating, and more research on teachers of governmental university, less research on teachers of non-governmental university. For sake of these, based on other's excellent result, and combined with single case investigation and research, we chose non-governmental college Hunan Foreign Oriented Economy Institute and governmental college Changsha Institute as our research targets which under different school making system in Changsha. we take single case research method as our principle method, and make demonstrate contrast research on university motivation condition under different school making system by single case interview, question survey, data statistic and literature analysis etc, based on contrasting with each other and learning from each other, we finally put forward common motivation strategy and idiographic non-governmental and governmental university teacher's motivation strategy.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is exordium, which introduced research background of this paper, detailed explained nowadays research condition of China and overseas. Based on the above, we put forward research process of describing this paper, including the choose of research target, research method, research way of thinking and meaning. In chapter two we make definition of some important concept such as motivation, requirement , attemptation etc. Firstly, analyzing effect of motivation and then retrospection mainly motivation theory respectively such as contently, process, behavior correctly motivation theory by using literature method. Hence this chapter made theoretical basic of this paper. And in chapter three, based on the analysis of university teacher's labor and character, this paper explained the necessity of motivation on university teachers from multi-proposition angle (management, man power capital theory), and summed specifications and layers which university teachers required, furthermore, analyzed nowadays condition about our university teacher motivation and existing problems, so this chapter consists of the basic assumption of this paper.In chapter five of this paper, we make demonstration comparison and analysis of these two colleges Hunan Foreign Oriented Economy Institute and governmental college Changsha Institute aimed to different school making system. The content including brief introduction of these two colleges and teacher staff, and interview situation introduction, and the comparison analysis for motivation situation of these two colleges. The key point of this chapter is the contentment degree's contrast analysis of these two college teachers, and teacher requirements as well as motivation factor's contrast analysis, especially making contrast analysis on the difference of different teacher's requirements, in order to find the key factor which influent the college teacher's positivist, hence providing effect evidence for bring forward the college teacher's motivation strategy. The fifth chapter is about motivation strategy of university teachers. This chapter is the emphases and base point of this paper, is the purpose of the research. Based on the contrast analysis in chapter four, the common motivation strategy for university teachers, idiographic non-governmental university teachers and governmental university teachers was put forward. We expect the research production of this task will bring references and guidance for university teacher management staff.
