| Mathematical thinking method, the soul of mathematical teaching, is the guiding way of mathematics activities and universally applicable method. It can make students comprehend the true meaning and connotation of mathematics. Also they can use it to analyze and solve problems. So applying mathematics thinking method is an important way to developing the intelligence and non-intelligence factors of the students.Mathematical thinking method which is an important subject of mathematical education, has been concerned by more and more people mathematics educators. Strengthen the teaching of it can make students transform the boring studying into the meaningful learning, liberate form the endless practice and improve their mathematical capability.With the beginning to define the relevant concept of mathematical thinking method, this paper generalizes some kinds of mathematical thinking method in high school after studying the "Guideline for the general high school mathematical teaching program" and the literature of mathematical thinking method. And according to my teaching experience, this paper shows the preliminary statistics on the emergence of some major thinking methods from chapters on current teaching material in high school. Subsequently, based on the theory of pedagogy and psychology, this paper which combined with the status and the own characteristics of mathematical thinking method in teaching, describes and discusses the education function, teaching principles and strategies on mathematical thinking method in details. Then it completes a preliminary study of mathematical thinking teaching theory.
