It's the calling of the times to implement quatity-oriented educationand cultivate talented persons for the new age. But seeing from thecurrent situation, the effect of implementing quality-oriented education isnot so optimistic. There are still so many problems that we couldn'tneglect. Especially facing the entrance examination for college, it's sohard for us whether we should cultivate the students' qualities to meet theneed of the development of the society, or we should go all out to copewith the entrance examination. For most people, it has been an obviousdilemma problem. So quality-oriented education couldn't go on unlessthe dilemma prolem is solved. And how to realize and solve the problemis what this paper focuses on.Adopting the ways of document analysis, theory research and casestudy, this paper deeply reflects on the implementing of quality-orientededucation, makes a in-depth analysis of how the prolem emerges anddevelopes, tries to find out the true nature of the dilemma problem. Thispaper is on the view that the so-called dilemma is a misunderstandingbecause people have not been conscious of the real reason why contradictexists. In fact, the students would perform better and get much higermarks in entrance examination for college if real quality-orientededucation is implemented. At last, this paper proposes detailed strategiesto solve the problem from two aspects of teachers'qualities ang classroomteaching.
