A Study Of Meng Qiu Written By Li Han

MengQiu written by Li Han in Tang Dynasty is famous for its styles and contents, it is so popular that a lot of books entitled MengQiu have been published, and MengQiu system has also been formed. It was a prominent representative of enlighten books, therefore so many scholars has been studying on MengQiu written by Li Han. It is necessary for us to do research on it again because most of the studies are annotation. Among these studies Xu Ziguang's MengQiujizhu which was written in Song Dynasty is the most famous. Based on a review of all the Chinese traditional enlighten books and the previous studies on Li Han's MengQiu, this research investigates something about the author of MengQiu and its true date by means of qualitative method, also it analyses the book of MengQiu's language features based on its usages of rhyme, literary quotation and its styles by means of quantities method. And the possible weaknesses and values of MengQiu are found in the Chapter 5 and 6.In all the research may bring about some theoretical and practical implications for scholars who will study Li Han's MengQiu. So we can have a better understanding ofLi Han's MengQiu and develop our traditional culture.
