ObjeciveObesity is serious harm to human's health, how to prevent and cure obesity is point of human paying attention to. In this article, we studied the effects of hypoxia and hypoxia with exercise on body composition in obese rats, which results compared with the effects of normoxia exercise, and approached the mechanism of hypoxia participating weight reduction.Methods32 fat SD rats were picked as subjects from SD young rats which were fed with fat animal feeds for seven weeks, and they were randomly divided into four groups: obese control group(OCC group),obese control group with normoxia exercise(OEE group),obese group with hypoxia(OHH group),obese group hypoxia with exercise(OHE group), in addition to normal control group(Con group) which rats were fed ordinary animal feeds. They were five groups in all and each group had eight rats. Hypoxia measure: simulate oxygen content was 14.5%; exercise measure: equal treadmill exercise which speed was 20 meters per minutes and gradient was 0. measured body weight,body length,lee index number of all groups during four weeks and measured other items after experiment.Results(1) Body weight, lee index number, body fat, body fat percentage, muscle weight of rats of OCC group are all very significantly highest compared with these of Con group(P<0.01).Compared with OCC group, hypoxia with exercise can reduce body weight, lee index number, body fat, body fat percentage very significantly(P<0.01).Hypoxia also can reduce body weight(P>0.05) and lee index number, body fat, body fat percentage(P<0.05). Hypoxia and hypoxia with exercise also can resolve muscle but the all of the ratio of muscle weight/body weight of rats of all groups is no significance(P>0.05). Body weight, lee index number, body fat of rats of OHE group are lower than these of OEE group(P>0.05), and body fat percentage of rats of OHE group is significantly lower than these of OEE group(P<0.05).(2) The density of serum TC, LDL-C of rats of OCC group are all very significantly highest compared with these of Con group(P<0.01) and the density of serum TG of rats of OCC group is very significantly higher compared with this of Con group(P<0.05).Compared with OCC group, hypoxia with exercise can raise the content of Hb and reduce the density of serum TG and TC very significantly(P<0.01) and degrade the density of serum LDL-C and raise the density of serum HDL-C significantly(P<0.05); hypoxia also can raise the content of Hb significantly(P<0.05) and degrade the density of serum TC, TC, LDL-C and raise the density of serum HDL-C(P>0.05).The density of serum TC, TC, LDL-C of OHE group are lower than these of OEE group and the density of serum HDL-C is higher than OEE group(P>0.05).The number of RBC and the content of Hb of OHE group and OHH group are higher than these of OEE group(P>0.05).(3) The density of serum leptin, insulin, NPY of rats of OCC group are all very significantly highest compared with these of Con group(P<0.01) and the content of leptin and lepr of hypothalamus are significantly lower compared with this of Con group(P<0.05).Compared with OCt group, hypoxia with exercise can reduce the density of serum insulin very significantly(P<0.01)and raise the activity of LPS of fat tissue and LPL of muscle tissue and reduce the density of serum leptin and NPY and raise the content of leptin and lepr of hypothalamus significantly(P<0.05).Hypoxia can reduce the density of serum NPY very significantly(P<0.01) and reduce the density of serum insulin and raise the activity of LPL of muscle tissue(P<0.05) and LPS of fat tissue and reduce the density of serum leptin and raise the content of leptin and lepr of hypothalamus(P>0.05).the activity of LPL of muscle tissue of OHE group is higher than OEE group(P<0.05), so is the activity of LPS of fat tissue(P>0.05). The density of serum leptin, insulin, NPY of OHE group are all lower than OEE group and the content of leptin and lepr of hypothalamus are higher than OEE group(P>0.05).Conclusions(1) The model of obese rat eating fat animal feeds was made successfully. Blood fat, serum leptin and insulin of Obese rats were higher than normal stand. (2) Hypoxia and hypoxia with exercise both can reduce fat, Compared with normoxia exercise, the effect of hypoxia with exercise is best.
