The medium-vocational education is an important part of theeducation system of our country. In recent years, the medium-vocationaleducation faced with some new problems. One of the key problems is thatthe traditional long-term studying model of running school does not meetthe needs of the development of society and economy. So the author triesto look for some useful experience of running medium-vocational schoolfrom abroad so as to find a new model instead of the old ones.At the beginning, the author analyzed the existing problems ofmedium-vocational education, and pointed out the reasons causing thoseproblems. On the basis of studying a lot of internal and external articles,the author compared our models of running medium-vocational schoolwith international countries. As a result, the author found some weaknessof our present models, and presents the ways to overcome thoseweaknesses. Consequently, the author puts forward his innovative model.The new model is called multi-dimensional systematic model. Itincludes: the main bodies should be various, the formats should bediverse, the levels should be a wide range, the channels should be wide,the methods should be numerous, the elements should be systematic.This model based on the theory of educational system. It focuses onthe effect of superiority of whole system. It puts itself into a largersystem, fits for the complicate system and keeps on development despiteof some interferes from all kinds of complex factors. It is the model thatregards the educational service as commodity, and treats the socialdemands as the basis of school. It is the model that takesmedium-vocational education as a special commodity and runs school as aenterprise by using systematic idea.
