Project of Modern distance learning of elementary and middle schoolstaking the information technology popularizing as the core is an important measurewhich enhances elementary and middle schools' teaching staff and educational teachingquality. Teachers can have the entire rural education make a great progress only byskillfully using information technology facility, and fully utilizing teaching compact.disc, IP resources and teaching resources storehouse. School-base training is the mostdirect, economical and effective method in improving the teachers'applying ability ofthe information technology.This article conducts questionairs in the pattern-three project schools in fiveprovinces (or autonomous region)-Shaanxi, Ningxia, Sichuan, Tibet and InnerMongolia (This project classifies junior middle school of countryside as pattern-threeproject school). Through the questionairs to 959 specialists in information technology,to 332 discipline teachers' applying ability of information technology as well as to 332junior middle schools in countryside, it specifies syetematically the school-base trainingof information technology in pattern-three project schools from four aspects-theorganizing pattern, the educational model, the managing pattern and the evaluating way.This thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter briefly introduces the background, significance and method of theresearch, and elaborates the facility, resources and teaching method of "three patterns"ofthe project of modern distance learning. It further inquires into three essential factors ofthe project's sustainable development.The second chapter studies the specialists of the information technology and thediscipline teachers' applying ability of it. Its result becomes the foundation and a newdeparture of this research.The third chapter elaborates the school-base and its connotation of the training,investigates the present training situation of the pattern-three project schools, andanalyzes its realistic feasibility. Therefore, it is thought to be the effective way toimprove the teachers' applying ability. The fourth chapter constructs the organizing pattern-"four stages"of theschool-base training, proposes that teachers should be trained acoording to differentlevels and stages, and elaborates in detail the organing pattern and the operatingsequence in every training stage.The fifth chapter discusses elementary theory, the operating sequence and theimplementing condition safeguard of the teaching model-"the demonstration-imitation", "the situation experience" and "the duty inquiry" corresponded to the threeorganizing patterns of the school-base.The sixth chapter discusses the managing pattern of school-base of the informationtechnology, and the evaluation of paper file is thought to be the best way to test thetraining effect. Therefore, it designs the paper file of the school-base for theinformation technology from five aspects-goal, subject, content, gauge and evaluation.
