Objectives: To probe the effects of different motor skill types on the body-esteem of college students, help the students build up good physical self-concept and improve their body satisfaction. Methods: To intervene in experimental subjects for 19 weeks by physical exercises of badminton and aerobics compared to subjects not participate in physical exercises. Scales of PSPP and Self-efficacy were adopted to measure the level of body-esteem and self-efficacy among experimental and control groups before and after the experiment. The data are analysed detaily. Results: By the Anova and Multiple comparisons we can find out that the condition difference among badminton,aerobics and control groups are not obvious. However, in the way of self-worth, badminton and control groups have significant difference(p=.000﹤0.05), so do the badminton and aerobics groups(p=.011﹤0.05),but there is no significant difference between aerobics and control groups(p=.281﹥0.05). As to skill ability, badminton and control groups have significant difference(p=.000﹤0.05), aerobics and control groups are the same(p=.001﹤0.05). Concerning the body-attraction, badminton and aerobics groups have significant difference(p=.041﹤0.05). About physical condition, the difference between badminton and control groups reach a significant level(p=.001﹤0.05), so do the badminton and aerobics groups(p=.024﹤0.05) , compared to a very small difference between aerobics and control group. In addition, by the Anova and Multiple comparisons we can also explore that aerobics and control group have obvious difference in self-efficacy level(p=.003﹤0.05), so do the badminton and aerobics groups(p=.046﹤0.05). Conclusions: Badminton is good for body-esteem except physical condition. Aerobics has good effects on skill ability, body-attraction and physical condition at the same time. In terms of above analysis, we can judge that aerobics is not as good as Badminton. In skill ability, badminton has significant difference between boys and girls. Aerobics has no difference in all aspects of body-esteem yet.
