The concept of happiness is a topic which interests many subjects such as ethics, psychology and physiology. The study of ideal of life forms an essential part of college students'education. Tracing back the historical findings in the 80s & 90s of last century,we found that the concept of happiness for college students dynamically developed from mono to multiple and from emotional to reasonable. Up to now, with entering the 21st century, great changes have taken place among Chinese college students. From its varying tracks,we are likely to experience directly the inner laws of the conception of happiness and value. We cannot simply affirm or deny their concepts of happiness. To have a further study about the conception of happiness, first, we should try to understand deeply about the theoretical approaches of Marxist's idea of human nature, desire and value, and we should also investigate the subjective & objective elements that will affect their conception, formation and variation of happiness concept. Second, we should try to analyze and evaluate the present condition of this in order to construct a fairly reasonable conception of happiness.
