Educational technology is the theory and pra-ctice of design,development,utilization,management,and evaluation of processes and resources for learning.Educational technology is a subject which researches better technological approaches, operational methods and methodologies of education, teaching process and management, applying concepts, ideas, methods and methodologies of technology, fo the purpose of more effective teaching. It explores and improves the technological approaches and operational methods of education, teaching effect and the theory and methods of better education and teaching process with the basis of inculcation theory, learning theory, transmitting theory and system theory, on the basis of objectivity, mensurability, reproduction, operation of educational process, applying production and technological ways of scientific technology in the light of teaching process. There are two ways about the teaching of educational technology: one is theoretic teaching, the other is practical teaching. Theoretic teaching is a process that makes students master knowledge by infusion and initiation of sense. Practical teaching refers to a set of teaching activity of getting sensibilitive knowledge, basic skills and improving integration diathesis with the main of practical operation under the teachers'conduction. It typically includes production, testing, training, curriculum paper (design), thesis (design), visit, investigation and other social practice and other activities. Teaching practice and theory of teaching is to achieve the same goal in two different ways. The lack of any one of which has failed to meet the desired results. Educational technology as a subfield of education was founded in 1993, it is a young, vibrant, integrated and application-oriented subject which is full of challenges. Professional educational technology personnel training is charaterized by its theory orientation on its perceptions, objectives or implementation. And China's current practice of teacher education system is very inadequate. These lead to the necessity of the increase of our higher education teaching practice, and further improvement of the education technology for professional practice teaching system for the cultivation of teachers who can adapt quickly to the characteristics of the profession.This paper, on the basis of the investiation of emloyment of several education technology colleges, seeks to analyze the social need for the educational technology students, and backup the conclusion that primary and secondary teachers of information technology personnel training is not the main direction, educational technology professionals should be the objective of fostering diversity, and explore educational technology courses for professional teaching and the reasons for the shortcomings according to the objectives of training talents. And it discusses the shortcoming and causes in the teaching courses of educational technology to pave the way to reform them and enhance the practice teaching and construct "practice-theory-practice" education system of open practice teaching, studies education technology professional practice teaching as a system, arranges scientifically the contents in educational technology system, integrate the contents of professional experiments, sets up a comprehensive curriculum; establishes an open, experimental teaching environment, builds interactive digital integrated platform; comprehensively uses various teaching strategies for education technology for professional practice teaching; establishes a flexible and diverse educational technology practice teaching evaluation system for the reference of education technology teaching .
