21st century is one calling for creativity, which arises from people's criticism and suspicion of the objectives, and people's creative sense of discovering, probing and trying to find out the solutions to the questions. The latter is the core for creativity. So it has both theoretical meaning and practical meaning to study the present situation of students'questioning sense (QS) and educate them to be creative. This study is based on the following theories: Maxims, education, education psychology, human-oriented theory, structuralism, and some other relevant theories. Meanwhile, taking the characteristics of junior-high-school students'psychology development into consideration, by means of questionnaire, statistics analysis, in-class observation, teacher and student interview and analysis of historical literature, this paper clearly presents the current situation of students'QS, the factors affecting the development of QS, so as to put forward the strategies on how to provoke students'QS. The factors impacting the education of QS lie in environment, teachers, students themselves, textbooks, school management and course evaluation mechanism. We should focus on the above-mentioned factors, especially the studying attitude and studying methods, to find the ways to improve students'QS. This paper, free from the limitation of previous study, which only focuses on the aspects of asking skills, aims to intensify the development of active thinking and studying strategies, both of which play an important part in building students QS. In a word, it is an attempt of benefit to convert the concept of creativity into teaching practice.
