The Study Of The Current Situation And Development Countermeasure Of Degree And Postgraduate Education In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

The nature of competition in the 21st century is the competition of knowledge and qualified personnel. The postgraduate education will play the key role in the fierce competition for knowledge and qualified personnel, and the rapid development of postgraduate education will be taken as an important action in prospering China through science and education. Since the Reform and Opening up Policy was carried out, the degree and postgraduate education in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has achieved great improvement. It has set up a new postgraduate education system including almost all subjects, reasonable structure and distribution and higher benefits, and has trained a large number of high-level personnel for society. At the same time, the competition will be intensified and the social demand for being educated will rise. As a result, the number of enrolled postgraduates in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been increasing continuously by over 30 percent annually in recent years. In order to meet the need of the new period, it is urgent to do some current studies on the degree and postgraduate education in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and to probe some issues about its development. At last, the author provides some development countermeasures with regard to degree and postgraduate education in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from the strategic viewpoint.The thesis consists of 4 points, including theories, current situation, problems and countermeasures. It is also the embodiment of epistemology that is from theory to practice and from practice to theory again. The study used a literature summarized analysis, the leadership interviews, qualitative description and quantitative analysis. Some data of the thesis were analyzed by SPSS, in order to reach a scientific conclusion.
