Campus Cultural Activities Under The Concept Of Sustainable Ethic Education

The conception of sustainable ethic education is to promote a wholesome, harmonious and healthy development for human beings, which is characterized with the following features. First, it is very open and highly contemporary and it enjoys a global view. Secondly, sustainable ethic education focuses on the human nature and serves to the best of the subject. Thirdly, it is live and reflects the essence of everyday life, emphasizing the ecological nature; hence, students'ethical ability will be formed and developed. Fourthly, it is pragmatic, helping a lot with the spiritual life of higher education. It supports and maintains the ethic education. Campus cultural activities include the learning experience, communicative and everyday life, which are important means to apply sustainable ethic education. Based on the research toward campus activities with guidance from sustainable ethic education, author proposes the following ten points as new strategies to carry out campus activities to establish a beautiful and nice campus on basis of sustainable ethic education. 1. To create an active and positive atmosphere for the full development of college students. 2. The faculty and staff are the models for their words and deeds. 3. Students are well guided for self-cultivation. 4. Students'organizations should be strengthened to help the self education, self-management and self-service. 5. To adopt various activities to promote ethic education and career fulfillment. 6. To further develop various students'societies this will be supportive with their features. 7. Give full attention to the dormitory cultural quality. Students'Dorms well serve as a site for campus ethic education. 8. Full attention to the construction and development of the intranet system on campus. 9. Good cooperation between campus activities and family ethic education. 10. Appropriate combination between campus and social activities upgrades students'valuation of life. This paper gives a very careful and theoretical consideration to build a beautiful and nice campus with the guidance of sustainable ethic education, and further proposes applicable and feasible suggestions and strategies.
