Study evaluation of P.E. in colleges and universities is a part of education evaluation. It is based on the study target of P.E. in colleges and universities, and it is a judgment of the students'progress in study and their study effect, so that it can improve physical education and help the students to develop in an all-round way and develop healthily. Evaluation of P.E. is also a process of value judgments, and a process of finding ways to increase the value of physical education.Study evaluation of P.E. plays an important role of direction, encouragement and quality control in the reform of P.E. in colleges and universities. It is the key to the success of the reform of P.E. in average colleges and universities. With the development of society and the change of people's demands, P.E. in average colleges and universities shows a dynamic characteristic. Study evaluation of P.E. needs to be reformed continuously. It is an international trend to reform study evaluation of P.E. A survey of study evaluation of P.E. in colleges and universities of Anhui Province shows that it couldn't meet the requirements of Essentials in the evaluation aim, evaluation content, evaluation subject and evaluation method. These problems affect the function of study evaluation of P.E.This thesis mainly adopts cultural heritage data method, expert to interview method, questionnaire survey and Mathematical Statistics method and explores study evaluation of P.E. According to the principle of making people the centre,"health the first"and the prerequisite of focusing on the evaluation content, the advantages of evaluation process, the humanization of evaluation , the selection of evaluation project and the appropriateness of evaluation standard, it finds out an overall, multiple-subjects way of evaluation which combines the progress in study with the effect of study. This evaluation system also considers the range of progress the students make, and it pays great attention to the healthy developments of the students. This thesis also offers some practice basis for studying evaluation of P.E. in colleges and universities.
