Teaching self-evaluation of teachers focus on teachers as subject in the process of evaluation, promoting the form of subject's cognition for teachers, so teaching self-evaluation is benefit for teachers'self-reflect, self-changed and self-improved. Developing effective teaching self-evaluation is helpful for improving the quality of teaching and promoting teachers'professional development. The writer thinks that teaching self-evaluation is that teachers evaluate the condition of teaching preparation, teaching process, teaching effect and the components of teaching. The theory of humanism, critical theory, development assessment of teachers, specialization on teachers, cognitive psychology, administrative,"qualitative research"provide theoretical basis for teaching self-evaluation. They play an important role in understanding teaching self-evaluation for us.Based on the literature review of teaching self-evaluation, the writer selects 20 primary schools in Shahekou section, Zhongshan section and Xigang section of Dalian at random, using questionnaire investigation & individual interview. It brings forward the following discussion and analysis: teachers'attitude to teaching self-evaluation and recognition, the knowledge and abilities of teaching self-evaluation, the implemental condition of teacher self-evaluation and the influence factors of teaching self-evaluation. And writer analyzes teachers from different educational background and ages. After the study, it is discovered that most of the teachers have the intention of teaching reflection. But there are many problems in understanding, taking part in the self-evaluation and the training of the teachers'knowledge and abilities about self-evaluation. Writer analyzes the reasons as follows: first, the factors of teachers; Second, the factors of schools, and so on.According to the results and the discoveries, countermeasures or suggestions must be put forward as the followings: building up correct views of evaluation; providing training about teaching self-evaluation; strengthening the management of teaching self-evaluation; building up scientific system of teaching–self evaluation and proposing expert-guidance and activities research.
