In recent years , influenced by the fact that high-speed development of tourism industry and the expanding and employing of higher education, the higher education of tourism in China developed fast, too. A lot of universities developed the major of tourism, the amount of the students increased constantly. But there still exist a lot of problems in the tourism education which is lagging behind the tourism development and society demand, and there is also more space for growing. The article tries to improve suggestion about the curriculum system of the higher education of tourism from the perspective of post-modernsm, and it is important to the reformation of the curriculum of higher education of tourism.In western countries, the research of post-modern education theory began from the 1970s. The main perspective is to broke up the dominion of modernity such as conventionalism, hypostases and conservatism, point out the disadvantages of the modern education system, set up a new curriculum system with more equity, humanity and criticism. The methodology of the post-modern education paid more attention to the students' experience of life, attached importance to the process of curriculum instead of the result. Based on combining the research results of post-modern education, Doll proposed post-modern curriculum should possess the characteristics of 4R------a new curriculum which is rich, recursive, relational and rigorous. 4R is also very important to the constructing of the curriculum system of the higher education, and in the article which is reflected from five respects of the curriculum system: First, widens the goal of curriculum----- pays attention to student's job quality, and also pays attention to their sustainable development capacity and the growth of attitude, emotion, value tropism. Second, sets up a new kind of curriculum structure -----which associates different knowledge fields, sets up evolutive curriculum structure of higher education of tourism, emphasizes knowledge building and student's recursive pondering. Third, enriches curriculum content-----Detaches curriculum content into three parts on the premise of emphasizing the changes of knowledge attitude: Mechanical content, animal content, human content, The students must improve themselves in all three respects. Fourth, the method to implementing-----including the curriculum of tourism should be carried out through the learning in class, after school and in practicing , some advanced domestic and international education ways and means should be brought in to tourism education, and meantime emphasizing the equal between teachers and students, participating and the recursive pondering based on intercourse. Fifth, develops a frame with three articipant aspects and two levals , makes the appraisal play a important role in the constructing of knowledge.
