As a strategic pillar industry of national economy,tourism industry has made rapid progress in recent years,followed by the rapid growth of tourism market demand for talents.As the main position of talent training,colleges and universities will undertake more important task of tourism professional talents training.A reasonable curriculum system is an important support for colleges and universities to achieve the goal of talent training.Previous studies have shown that there are many problems in the construction of curriculum system in Higher Vocational Tourism Management Major,such as the unscientific curriculum structure,unreasonable allocation of class hours,etc.This paper uses literature research,questionnaire survey,case study and other research methods to systematically analyze the current situation and problems of the curriculum system of higher vocational tourism management,and explore the scientific construction of the curriculum system of higher vocational tourism management based on the Outcomes-based Education(OBE).First of all,this paper selects five domestic colleges and universities as the research object,respectively,interviews and questionnaire survey on the professional curriculum setting of teachers,students,and the managers of the employment enterprises after graduation,in order to understand the current situation and existing problems of the professional training,curriculum system,students’ ability of Tourism Management in China.Secondly,the paper puts forward the idea of constructing the curriculum system based on the OBE concept.Adhere to the principles of students’ ability training as the standard,expected learning results as the guide,reverse design of curriculum system,and combination of professional training and market demand,and build the curriculum system of tourism management in higher vocational education around the three elements of curriculum structure,curriculum objectives and curriculum content,through a perfect supervision system,effective evaluation system and reasonable incentive system.The department guarantees the implementation of the curriculum system of higher vocational tourism management based on the OBE concept.Finally,taking the tourism managementmajor of NG college as an example,this paper makes an empirical analysis of the construction of the curriculum system based on the OBE concept,discusses the scheme of the construction of the curriculum system and the effect of the application of the OBE concept to the construction of the curriculum system.On the one hand,this study preliminarily solves the problems existing in the current curriculum system of Tourism Management Major in higher vocational colleges,on the other hand,it realizes the win-win situation of students mastering learning achievements,colleges training application-oriented talents,and enterprises introducing professional talents.Based on the Outcomes-based Education(OBE),it is of great theoretical significance to study the scientific construction of the curriculum system of Tourism Management Specialty in higher vocational education.At the same time,this research is helpful to improve the quality of tourism management professional training,to promote the development process of tourism management professional higher education,to improve the quality of higher vocational schools,and to cultivate application-oriented tourism management professional talents.
