"China Education Reform and Development Program" points out that,"Educators should change the conceptions of education, reform teachingcontent and teaching methods, resolve the problem that education is separatedto some degree from the need of social development." The thesis centers onthis point. The Study probes into the comprehensive teaching of art andscience, which is relevant to the reform of fine arts education. It aims toremedy the defect of separate discipline teaching from the perspective oftransdisciplinary teaching to explore the link of art and science which canbe applied to fine arts teaching. As a result, the teacher can use variousteaching resources to cultivate students' ability to solve problems so that theycan adapt themselves to the requirement of history and society. Humandevelopment should be consistent with social development.The research on how to solve the conflict focuses on the followingaspects. The first part of the thesis discusses the relationship between art andscience and emphasizes the inseparability of art and science. The second partdiscusses the relevancy between art and other disciplines. The third partfocuses on the comprehensive and complementary teaching of art and science.
