Studying and creating rely on thinking, which is the key to developing intelligence. Therefore, one of the important tasks in middle school chemistry teaching is to develop students' thinking ability; above all the task means helping students to be able to think from chemistry perspective during middle school chemistry teaching period; secondly it is vital for students to develop thinking ability form mathematics perspective, for mathematics is not only a tool to be used but a thinking means; mathematics thinking is the thinking to study mathematics as well as a universal thinking to study the matter world. "Chemistry thinking" and "Mathematics thinking" are complex; they are psychological concepts. In this thesis, I won't focus on their meaning in psychology, but simply put them into the use to form students' "Chemistry thinking" and "Mathematics thinking"; at the same time students can combine the two concepts in handling some chemistry problems. As to how to motivate students to foster chemistry and mathematics thinking in dealing with some problems, the following means, which combine theory and practice, may be available. On the basis of the requirements in middle school chemistry teaching, the thesis discourses on the necessity, the importance and the meaning of the relationship between the chemistry and mathematics thinking.Take the thinking characteristics of middle school students into account, I combine my understanding on chemistry and mathematics thinking with my own teaching experience, and from three aspects I discuss chemistry and mathematics thinking as well as the combination between the two in solving chemistry problems.First: to develop the ability for students to think from the perspectives of chemistry and mathematics; Second: to help students understand the relationship between the chemistry and mathematics thinking in dealing with,the problems of chemistry quantitative topics; Third: to develop the ability tousle chemistry and mathematics thinking in course of solution to chemistry problems; Drawing on the experience of others and some research hievements, I look into the means of how to develop the chemistry and mathematics thinking in middle school chemistry teaching and put them inPractice in class.I not only train students to think from the perspectives of chemistry and mathematics in dealing with some chemistry problems of quantity, but encourage students to form the habit of chemistry and mathematics thinking.In my efforts to cultivate students' ability of chemistry and mathematics thinking, I have proved it in practice that students' thinking ability has been improved greatly; students are able to use the means of summary, induce, deduce, analysis, synthesis and analogy to solve chemistry problems.It's certain that there are many other ways and means in developing students' ability of chemistry and mathematics thinking; I will go on with the research in this field in teaching to explore more ways to develop students' ability of chemistry and mathematics thinking, thus, I can lay the foundation for students' lifelong learning and achieve the ultimate aim of quality education.The thesis discourses on the topic from three parts:One: IntroductionTwo: the summary of theory research related to the topicThree: develop the chemistry and mathematics thinking form in solving problems.
