Develop science and education is one of the road to enforce our country. Education have shoulder some important task like develop economy, promote our nation and country in the rapid development 21 century. If China want to development education effectively must trained a group of excellent teachers. Teacher is the critical factor to carry out quality-oriented education. Chinese is a large agricultural country, rural basic education is the important part in Chinese education. Junior high school education is the critical stage in nine years compulsory education. Chinese is the basic subject in elementary education. It is important that to study how to cultivate a group of high quality Chinese teacher and how to realize Chinese teacher's professional development. Therefore, this paper choose junior high school Chinese teacher as research object in Pingba county Guizhou province. Hoping to know the current situation of junior high school Chinese teacher. Finding out the progress and problems and analysing the reasons of shortcomings. At the same time, putting forward the strategies which are fit for junior high school Chinese teacher's professional development. Hoping do something that can help to improve quality of junior high school Chinese teacher and promote educational level in west developing areas.This paper is divided into seven parts: The first part describes the issues raised. The second part introduces some domestic and overseas scholars different opinions to the theory of teacher's professional development. The third part introduces basic situation in Pingba county and research ways. The fourth part introduces questionnaire investigate date. The fifth part describes current situation of junior high school Chinese teacher's professional development. The sixth part analyses problems and reason. Finally, bring forward some suggestions to promote Chinese teacher's professional development.
