A Discussion On Production And Enlightenment Of Ye Shengtao's Ideas On Chinese Language Education

Ye Sengtao, a famous Chinese writer, publisher , social activist and language educator who contributed a lot to the Chinese language teaching and made great efforts and effect on the history of the language teaching. During his more than 70 years language education, he built up the language teaching theory which represents the trend of modern Chinese teaching practice, and of course it is national, scientific and popular. His language teaching thought , such as goal theory , natural theory, textbook theory, teaching method theory, teacher's quality theory, all are involved in Chinese teaching especially the teaching quality teaching in schools. The Chinese langrage teaching has been influenced by his theory for about one century.Nowadays, with the education for all-around development in teasingly deepened, the new curriculum reform has become the choice of time and historical necessity. The implementation of the new curriculum reforms cannot be separated from the common efforts of the school, society and the family cannot be separated from a series of reforms and the innovation of the educational thought, the pattern, the management, the text book and the teaching method; as well as cannot be separated from the leading role of education doers. Without the highly qualified teacher, there are not highly qualified students. The reform of new curriculum proposed a higher request and more serious challenge for teachers' overall quality. The language teachings without exception are facing that. In fact, the present situation of Chinese language teacher' s quality is unoptimistic; many teachers fell difficult in dealing with the reform of new curriculum.Facing to this situation, the article attempts to find the reasonable and effective way to improve the quality of Chinese language teachers through the creative process of Ye shengtao' s language teaching theory. We begin with his language teaching thoughts, absorb his rich teaching experiences, improve the efforts of language teaching, seek the new way language teaching development during caring our new curriculum.
