A Study On The Practical Teaching Of Thought And Political Theory In University

It is a basic principle to integrate the teaching of theory with that of practice in the teaching of thought and political theory for college students. The social practice is an indispensable and crucial part of the politics course in higher institutes. The politics course unifies social practice teaching with theoretical teaching, which allows students to participate in all kinds of social activities on their own initiative, fully displaying their subjectivity. This kind of teaching not only conforms to the demands of modern learning theory, but also manifests the combination of the Marxism theory and the practice.At present, the scholars at home have carried out some study on the practical teaching of thought and politics theory. Based on the current results of study, the author further discusses the characteristics, the theoretical foundation and means of implementation of the practical teaching of thought and politics theory. In addition, the author analyzes the specific ways adopted by some universities in the practical teaching of thought and politics theory, explains the existing problems, and proposes the measures to solve the questions.
