Counselors' job satisfaction, the application of satisfaction in practice field of counselors, refers to counselors' personal feeling to realize the fixed objective of cultivation people by virtue of ideological and political education. Taking satisfaction of counselors as the starting point, the study mainly discusses such issues as how to enhance counselors'job satisfaction, promote the construction of counseling team in the new age etc.The research consists of five parts. The first part is introduction, explain meaning of topic. Based on the literature, the second part reviews the relative theories and former empirical studies of job satisfaction. The third part is research methods and process, introduce the research subject,the content,the method and the process. Part four is research result and analysis, according to the official investigation data, examines the present conditions of counselors' job satisfaction and its differences and development features in terms of sociological variables like sex etc, analyses and discusses the results of quantitative research on counselors' job satisfaction. Part five is suggestions and conclusion, according to the previous research results, explains the research conclusion, depending on the data obtained from various research methods such as open-ended questionnaires, suggestions on how to enhance counselors'job satisfaction in the new age are put forward.The results from the research show that job satisfaction of Counselors in Colleges and Universities has the following characteristics in Hubei Province: (1) Job satisfaction includes self-relevance, social approval, working condition, working environment. (2) Job satisfaction as a whole is on a high level, but has obvious polarization. Some factors are satisfactory including self-relevance, working environment, there is a lower satisfaction in social approval and working condition. (3) A distinct difference exists between sex, age, type of schools, annual income, education background, type of titles, what kind of student and residence, but differences are slight between length of service, position, marital status etc. (4) The support of the community, confidence of personal development, confidence of career development, turn out to be the positive predictive factors for counselors' job satisfaction, whereas demission inclination is the negative predictive factor.Studies show that we need enhance counselors' job satisfaction, promote the construction of counseling team from three perspectives of government, school and individual respectively, focus on people, perfect the systems, working conditions and professional accomplishment, intensify efforts in the publicity and implementation of various policies, promote the construction of counseling team, make the counselors' work in Colleges and Universities become the classic occupation which is respected by people.
