Research On Junior Middle School Students' Interpersonal Communication

Interpersonal communication has a great influence on teenagers' development of self-consciousness, the improvement of study, mental health, attitudes towards life and social skills as well.Based on the situation in Wujing District Changzhou City, I conducted the research in two typical junior middle schools. With school life being the setting and peers' communication and contacts between students and teachers being the objects of study, an investigation has been made to analyze the initiative, intimate, and the depth of interpersonal communication among junior middle school students'. Meanwhile students' attitudes towards interpersonal communication and their personal feelings about it are also elaborated in it. All of this is done with the methods of interview, literature research, and the analysis of practical cases.On the basis of investigation and analysis, the thesis comes to the conclusion that is a very common problem among teenagers. Namely, the sense of initiative is not strong; lack of intimate and trust, lack of deep inner heart communication, the confusion of heterosexual contacts, lack of equality, emotional communication and mutual understanding between students and teachers, lack of the knowledge of influence on interpersonal communication caused by personal changes. So considering the above problems and from the angle of school guide and promotion, suggestions have been put forward. That is to establish a new idea, strengthen the study of the value of interpersonal communication; enrich students' experience by providing them a communicative platform; create a dialogue on equal footing so as to establish a brand-new relationship between students and teachers; strengthen guide so as to reduce the deviation of interpersonal communication among junior middle school students.
