The junior high school in Zhejiang Province began to experiment on "science" courses in 2001,and Since it was comprehensively implemented in 2003, we have achieved gratifying results in the process of overall advancement,but we have also been challenged by a great number of problems and difficulties.The basic concept of the new curriculum is "to comprehensively enhance each student's scientific knowledge is the core".But in fact the public's scientific knowledge is not optimistic. The relevant research on how to improve the quality of Science education ,as well as to examine it from a psychological level is still few. The form and functions of learner's attitude haven't attracted enough attention in the "science" new curriculum . It started with students' learning attitude,and the purpose of this study is to provide the theory and practice protection for the successful "science" courses implementation.First, this paper summarized some related theoretical and empirical studies about learning attitude through the historical documents, then proposed "Science" curriculum structure model of Junior high school students' learning attitude, And made it as the theoretical foundation for the scale of junior high school students' learning attitude on science course , at the same time, utilized it to survey and evaluate the status of Junior high school students' learning attitude. The research data is mainly from 1495 students' questionary survey. These students are all from 10 junior high schools in Haiyan Zhejiang Province in 2006. We also got the rich first-hand information by meeting or interviewing some experts, principals, science teachers, parents and students.After statistical analysis about the questionnaire data , it is indicated that this investigation has good reliability and validity. The investigation proved up the overall status of the junior high school students' learning attitude on"science" courses in Haiyan and the characterstic of distribution, And deeply analysed the factors of impacting the "science" learning attitude from three dimensions (the students themselves, schools, families )and eleven aspects. The results showed that: "science" Courses' learning attitude of Junior high school students in Haiyan has got to a high level in the whole, but it has big differences between students. 1/4 students has only got to the low level of learning attitude; the age, the interests of learning , the motivation and self-evaluation impact junior high school students' learning attitude on"science" courses. The sex in the whole has no significant effect on it, but there are remarkable differences between male or female students in the rural areas, and girls have much better learning attitude than boys; The school factors of impacting the learning attitude are the teaching methods in classroom, the teachers' behavior characteristics, the teaching resources and facilities; the family factors are the levels of parents education, family education situation, While, economic status and tutors have no significant effect on attitude.Finally, in this paper,on the basis of empirical research, the author put forward three suggestiones on how to train the active learning attitude: Doing one's utmost to show solicitude on students' individual differences in the process of carrying out the "science" new course; Doing one's utmost to show solicitude on the leading effect of the school factor in the process of carrying out the "science" new course; Doing one's utmost to show solicitude on important effect of the family factor in the process of carrying out the "science" new course. Expecting to provide theory and practice foundation for the further and perfect research on the "Science" new curriculum.
