Studies On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of School-Choosing During The Period Of Compulsory Education In Dadukou District Of Chongqing

The question of School-Choicing has been troublesome since the establishment of modern education and is under different situation in different period. The demand of education resources of high quality is far beyond supply, the education resources allocation is inefficient, which are the most important reasons for the emergence of the school-selection. Compulsory Education Law of the People's Republic of China clearly defined that China adopts 9-year compulsory education system. However, School-Choicing, a normal phenomenon in educational development, is against social justice and endangers social environment's harmonious and steady.As the only municipality of Western China and National pilot zone of ove-rall reform, Chongqing shall undertake the responsibility of being educational center of upper Yangtze River and Western China. Dadukou District, one of the key zones of One-hour City Circle project of Chongqing, shall achieve the aim of being advanced basic educational zone of Chongqing. How to reduce the increasingly negative influence of School-Choicing to the lowest degree, to create a fair compulsory education and to satisfy parents, school and government? We should have the courage to face with and settle the problems. Therefore, the research of Dadukou District is of great significance to the development of compulsory education in Chongqing and the whole country.Author of this article takes School-Choicing of Dadukou District as the object of study, analyzes its situation , reasons or impact, and puts forward 3 solutions: Firstly, from increase supply, to coordinate rural and urban areas, construct a balanced educational system for compulsory education; Secondly, from control demand, to adopt performance evaluation, update school evaluations; Thirdly, to guide and standardize, establish the system of School- Choicing.
