In the new era of intellectual economy, human capital has become a key factor influencing a country's comprehensive national power and development potential. The implement of the strategy of developing the country with science and education has made the status of education increasingly striking in economic construction. Higher education, as the highest level of education, is the prime mover in this strategy and the development of it is closely related to the fate of the country and its economic revival. The development of higher education needs innovation and simultaneous development with the time. In the various researches on higher education reform and development, the study on the income and distribution of university teachers is an important part. The study goes with the pay system reform in the 1990's and the value of university teachers as human capital was realized day by day after the establishment of the new idea of the involvement of productive essentials with distribution. In the new round of reform of distribution system, the problem of how income distribution reflects the university teachers' human capital capacity and how the value of human capital should be reflected need to be solved. Only when these two problems are solved the enthusiasm and innovation of university teachers can be inspired and the persons with abilities can be attracted and kept in universities and a stable contingent of teachers can be ensured so as to enhance the energy in school running.The thesis consists of seven chapters. Chapter 1 mainly deals with the background of the subject, the study object, the theoretical basis, the significance and relevant ways of study; Chapter 2 is about general statement of documents on the subject; Chapter 3 analyses the basic concept and features of human capital as well as the content of human capital calculation and its index system; Chapter 4 analyses the content of university teachers as human capital, the features of human capital as property right, its calculation method, evaluation and definition of its value from the point of university human capital; Chapter 5 tries to explore university distribution system from the angle of human capital on the basis of analyzing its history; Chapter 6 shifts to demonstration study and chooses Shandong Economic Trading Professional College as a case to study and tries to explore the starting point of study on the subject in the future; Chapter 7 serves as the conclusion and it comes to a conclusion of the study on the distribution system of university income and it emphasizes that the system should materialize human capital capacity and respect the affirmation of the value of human capital.
