For a long time, because of the influence of the traditional education, vocational schools still adopt some old and mechanical methods in the mathematics teaching process. The methods of teaching mathematics didn't consider the students' character and the professional features of the course, such as in the contents, methods, mode, and basically, the teachers hand down the mode and thought of traditional education, which makes the mathematics teaching of vocational school turn to be ineffective. Therefore, the effect can be improved in mathematics teaching is the key point of improving the whole teaching quality in vocational schools.In the base of studying pedagogy, psychology and the related professional knowledge, the author uses his teaching experience of several years and deals with the typical and effective teaching methods from several aspects as follows:First, the author studies the background, purpose, and significance of effective teaching, the research dynamic state in home and abroad and the research methods. Then defines the concept of effective teaching in mathematics of vocational school and introduces the principle of it and the theory foundation in mathematics class. The author also emphasizes the features in mathematics teaching in this paper and it aims at improving the students' integrated quality. The teachers' task is to develop the student's abilities, include their behaviors and vocational sense. Teachers teach the students knowledge from easy to difficult and use their rich knowledge to enrich the students' abilities, which can enlarge and strengthen the connection with the society.Second, this paper analyses the present situation and reason, which deviates effective teaching in mathematics teaching of vocational school. Combining with the actual mathematics lesson, the author discusses the excellent teaching case and get inspiration from it, then pays attention to outstanding the features of vocational school and uses the general teaching step to each mathematics lesson, from which to get some conclusions of the effective teaching methods.At last, this paper discusses that the effective teaching methods should be processing from the following aspects: the idea, target, features' constructing, explanation of mathematics teaching material, reconstruction of mathematics class, pay more attention to teaching reflection and improving the teaching method and the teachers' qualities. In mathematics teaching, the teacher will pay attention to a student's subjectivity well. With the idea of serving economic construction and the principle of "life-long education", teachers use contact teaching, inspiring teaching, cooperative teaching and the idea of encouragement process evaluation to the mathematics teaching process. And accumulate teaching experience to find the more effective way of teaching.
