In the 21st century,the economy of our country is booming,and the society's demand for workers'professional skills and quality is higher and higher.Therefore,our country's government has increased the budget for developing secondary vocational education,expecting the schools in the area to foster more practical talents for the society.However,the thinking mode of traditional education has been rooted profoundly in secondary vocational education,under whose influence the launching of effective mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools seems not to be optimistic.Either the teaching content and approaches or the teaching mode is not essentially different from those in high schools,ignoring the features of secondary vocational school students and their majors'properties,which causes the low efficiency in the mathematics teaching of secondary vocational schools and is not beneficial to the cultivation of students'character and their career development.Hence the effective teaching of mathematics is definitely crucial to enhance students'comprehensive competence in secondary vocational schools.On account of the current situation of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,on the basis of the relevant Pedagogical,Psychological and Mathematical teaching theories and professional knowledge,combined with the author's practical teaching experience,the paper has explored and applied the effective teaching of mathematics in secondary vocational schools,including the following aspects.Firstly,considering the current situation of teaching in secondary vocational schools,the paper poses the problems,discusses the background and the content of the research,interprets the mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,teaching and effective teaching,and the effective teaching of mathematics in secondary vocational schools.From that a conclusion is drawn that the effective teaching of mathematics in secondary vocational schools aims at the cultivation of students'character and their career development.Secondly,through analyzing the current situation of low effective mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools gets the problems in mathematics teaching and the factors influencing the effectiveness of the teaching,from which acquires the references and revelations.Finally,the paper presents some effective teaching strategies in teaching mathematics in secondary vocational schools,mainly from the perspectives of teachers,teaching contents and the students.In the strategies,either teachers'leading position or students'subject position should be concerned,besides,the teaching feedback ought to be emphasized.The effective teaching of mathematics in secondary vocational schools should be launched through keeping a firm grasp on the most important factors of teachers,teaching content and students.Teachers should establish a concept of serving the economical construction and lifelong education,so that fostering the comprehensive talents with professional skills and quality for the society.
