Recent years, with the development of higher education popularization, it is more and more difficulty for postgraduate students to find a job. Definition of Job-hunting stress is: postgraduate students feel physiological and psychological tension when they are facing job difficulty or doing not cope with insuperable job difficulty. The thesis researches job-hunting stress of postgraduate students in following three aspects, actuality, reason and strategy, it redounds to improve job-hunting of postgraduate students, redounds to reduce job-hunting stress of postgraduate students, redounds to promote economy development, keep society safety and healthy of postgraduate students body and mind. The method of research is mainly questionnaire and literature search, investigating job-hunting stress of postgraduate student roundly. It can be found that job-hunting stress of majority postgraduate students is higher, especially job-hunting stress of liberal postgraduate students is higher than that of science and engineering postgraduate student, job-hunting stress of women postgraduate student is higher than that of men postgraduate student. Job-hunting stress influences body health of postgraduate student little, influences study and life of postgraduate students moderately, influence mentality health of postgraduate student strongly. Job-hunting stressor of postgraduate student is mainly employer, supply and demand of major, job-hunting competition, lacking of job help, postgraduate students' general quality and ability, cognizing and orientation. Job stressor from high to low is: stress of job-hunting competition, stress of lacking of job help, stress of cognizing and orientation, stress of employer, stress of postgraduate student's general quality and ability, stress of supply and demand of major. Most postgraduate student can cope with job stress zealously, few postgraduate student cope with job stress negatively, higher stress of majority postgraduate students root in three aspect reasons, society, university and postgraduate students. The aspect of society includes illogicality of supply and demand, faultiness of job situation and discrimination of employer. The aspect of university includes illogicality of recruit and job, illogicality of amount and quality, talent apply and society demand, faultiness of job direction and service. The aspect of postgraduate student includes postgraduate student's general quality and ability, inaptitude of job view, juvenility of psychology making, incorrectness cognizing. There are three strategies to ease job-hunting stress of postgraduate students. Firstly, society should enlarge job dimensions, control job direction, encourage carving and abolish job discrimination, perfect job system. Secondly, university should regulate recruit and major, set up job direction and service, strengthen carving education, practice education of job psychology health. Last but not least, postgraduate student should enhance ability, set up right job view, choose reasonable cognizing and learn to cope with stress.
