The course of Chinese can be divided into required course and elective course. It is the bright point of new standards of Senior Chinese to design and explain the elective course specifically. Taking a sweeping view of the teaching of elective course of Chinese, we know that there are difficulties in opening and carrying it out. And there are many problems in exploring course reforms in some areas. How to open the elective course of Chinese successfully and avoid and solve the problems to achieve the standards of Chinese course reform is a problem which calls for an immediate solution. In this article, I probe into this problem by understanding the standards of new course as well as investigating the situation in some schools. I use the following ways: documents, investigation, case analysis and so on.This article includes 3 parts:Part 1: The first section is the general introduction of the research and implementation of the senior high Chinese elective course in our country .This section can be divided into three part: First, it refers to the international trend and the historical process in offering a senior high Chinese . Then it is about the design of the course and the development of the teaching material. The last part of this section is concentrated on the practive of the course and teaching situation thinking deeply .Part 2: This part is about the problems in Chinese course reform. I list the relationships in some pairs of contradiction in senior Chinese elective course. I also list 4 aspects in practicing the elective course: (1) in electing course and the instruction; (2) in teaching and managing; (3) in periods and the time to opening it; (4) in evaluating the elective course. Lastly, I add some other questions: (1) the required course and the elective one doesn't join well; (2) the thing that doesn't belongs to Chinese appears in class (3)elective a course at will (4) the trend towards gain in taking an exam. I hope that these problems above can be paid attention to by the researchers in course reform.Part 3: The tactics of carrying out the senior Chinese course reform. I expound them in 3 aspects: First, learn the theory of course reform deeply; second, fix and consummate the requirements in course reform; third, improve the ways of carrying out the course reform and popularize the successful experience in course reform. And I expound the third question form 4 aspects: (1) optimize the course resource deployment (2) do more research and deploy the teachers and students rationally (3) consummate the system in electing a course and instructing it (4)The establishment of a fair and reasonable elective evaluation system. I hope that I can offer some solutions to the problems in course reform. I also hope I can give some help to the people who practice the course reform.I hope the theory in senior Chinese course reform can strike root in the hearts of many teachers and students; I hope the course reform can be supported and helped in the society; I hope that the problems in Chinese course reform can be solved soon and the leap in Chinese new course reform can come true!...
