Study habits refer to relatively stable and automatic learning behavior tendencies and methods gradually cultivated through repeated practice in the long term learning process. Good habits are beneficial to improving the study efficiency and forming the ability of studying all the life. High school students should form good study habits conscientiously in Ideological and political course.High school students become mature gradually and like to explore new things. Being timely, comprehensive and practical are three main characteristics of Ideological and Political course, which is of unique values. Forming good habits of studying Ideological and Political course according to high school students'characteristics can not only meet the demand of students'growth, but also serve as fundamental teaching missions of Ideological and Political course.Educationists from all over the world comment incisively on the forming of study habits, stress the influence habits have on study as the second nature, emphasize on the importance of habit forming's key period, take practice and training seriously, suggest that one should concentrate, question and reflect independently while studying ,and form standard and rigorous study quality. Modern pendagogy and psychology make deep research on study habit, come up with scientific study theory from different angles and provide beneficial reference and important theory basis for middle school teachers who lead students to form good study habits in Ideological and Political course.Based on questionnaire survey, it's found out that students'study habits in Ideological and Political course are fine on the whole, but many of them lack a proper understanding of Ideological and Political course. They have little interest and little motivation in Ideological and Political course, and have utilitarian thoughts only for NMET; they have bad study habits in various areas at varying degrees---knowledge is accepted passively, even is recited rigidly; they seldom partic Ideological and political courseate in social practice, unable to make study by researching, lacking the awareness of reflecting independently and studying dependently, the spirit of innovation, and the ability of solving the problem with political knowledge learned before; high school students strongly desire teachers give a lecture vividly and get closer to life, especially including more latest news and hot points in society.In order to form the good habits of studying Ideological and Political course , at first, we have made the requirement clear and formulated the program of training the study habit, including two main parts mixing and infiltrating together-----the training program of regulation study habits and the training program of academic ability of Ideological and Political course; in order to implement the program, we also formulated a series of supporting management measures, as well as students'trick training and conscious implementation.Teachers of Politics should mine profound connotation of the students'books while teaching, connecting abstract theory with specific life closely, which can motivate students'interests and inner motivation in Ideological and Political course .In every detail, teachers should offer necessary guidance and help students establish goals, make a plan, preview actively, make notes briefly and clearly, listen to teachers attentively, revise scientifically, finish homework independently and form good study habits gradually.High school students should enhance academic ability training during the process of study with the characteristics of Ideological and Political course .Teachers should guide students to get into the habit of observing the surroundings, train the students'acute ability of catching political hot points and social phenomena; lead students into the good habit of connecting thinking with studying, create problem situations conscientiously, enlarge the room of study, hold the topic activity, encourage practical appliances, guide students to think in every direction positively and deeply, and try to make students'thoughts acute, flexible, deep, independent and unique; guide students to get into the habit of exploring actively, readily and ably, help students form strong awareness of question and consistent spirit of exploring and lay the strong foundation for the ability of innovation; help students not only master economic, political and cultural basic knowledge and theory, but also connect them with daily life, the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics, international major events; find out the nature through phenomena, improve the ability of analyzing and solving practical problems applying political knowledge learned integratedly.Through teachers'careful guidance and consistent training on students, high school students have formed preliminary habits of studying Ideological and Political course in every detail; academic abilities, especially the ability of analyzing and solving problems have been improved greatly.
