A Case Study Of The Professionalization Of University Student Administration

The professionalization of university student administration accommodates to the tendency of social development, is the necessity of the development of high education, reflects the progress of management science, suits the new characteristics of objects of management and is the need of the development of manager himself. In view of the problems of current researches of the professionalization of Chinese university student administration, by using theoretical analysis and empirical method, this paper investigates systematically the professionalization of Chinese university student administration from the following several aspects in order to provide useful enlightenment to the theoretical researches and university management practice:1. Introduction. This part elaborates the research distribution of the professionalization of university student administration firstly, then reviewes the researches both at home and abroad, presents the newest research progress, describes the problems in current research, and proposes the research object,research content and research method.2. The theoretical analysis of the professionalization of university student administration. This analysis involves the discussion of theoretical basis of he professionalization of university student administration, mainly including Structural- Functionism, Interpretationism and Critical Theory, and the basic connotation of the professionalization of university student administration from the perspectives of university student administration and professionalization.3. The present situation of the professionalization of university student administration and its analysis. On the base of theoretical discussion about the professionalization of university student administration, the author analyses deeply the problems in the professionalization of university student administration and their causes by using Jining University as the research case through questionnaire investigation and individual interview.4. The practical suggestion to the professionalization of university student administration. Basing on the analysis of the practical possibility of the professionalization of university student administration, the author elaborates the practical suggestion to the professionalization of university student administration from the aspects of establishing environment, building new idea, reforming system and Strengthening research.
