Yuan Dynasty is the first unified dynasty built up by the minority in China history. It is an important stage in China history. Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching presents the characteristics of itself. It becomes one of the important stages of our country education development. But for long time, because of various history and the academic reasons, our theory investigation seldom stops at Yuan Dynasty. The articles of teaching about Yuan Dynasty Academy are rare. Up to now the systemic sorting and exploring composing or articles about Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching are few. It is lack still in exploring and researching Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching.Through Tang and Song Dynasty's development, it's said that the quantity of Yuan Dynasty Academy is the biggest. But the teaching quality of Yuan Dynasty Academy can't match with other dynasties. The contrast was sharp-cut between the quantity and the quality.Therefore, the research of practice and thought about Yuan Dynasty Academy is great significance. It not only sets up a localization teaching theories but also explores the developing history of the Chinese cultures and the educations and pursues the development of the Chinese education. The research has important significance to today's teaching.The whole thesis is divided into five parts:Part one: Introduction. It generally introduces the reasons and significance of the thesis, as well as the research actuality, illustrates the thesis's intention and methods.Part two: Formation and development of Yuan Dynasty Academy. Analyze the background of the times,reason and overview of Yuan Dynasty Academy and indicate the environment about producing and developing teaching practice and thought. At this background the quantity of Yuan Dynasty Academy raised rapidly. The contrast was sharp-cut between the quantity and the teaching quality in next trenchancy. Part three: The overview of Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching. By the modern teaching theory I analyzed Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching practice and thought from the content of teaching, teaching organized form, teaching evaluation, teaching methods, relation of teacher and pupil five aspects.Part four: The teaching characteristic of Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching. I conclude three characteristics which are imperial examinations,the teaching psychology the teaching tradition weaken of the Yuan Academy's teaching at the foundation of the fourth part. They highlight the differences with other dynasties. We should concern essence through the phenomenon. From the nationalization and change of the academic I analyze the reasons about Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching characteristic.Part five: The modern apocalypse of Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching . We can know gain and loss from history. Through analyze Yuan Dynasty Academy's teaching we can get two apocalypses: one is optimizing the environment of teaching and learning to improve the quality of teaching and the other is enhancing a professional attitude to promote the teacher's diathesis.
