Research Course Of Education For Leisure On Secondary School

With the development of society and economy,the advance of science and technology,and the rise of productivity,people have been liberated gradually from physical labour.At the same time,people need gradual improvement of the quality of life,not only in satisfying the material life,but also in enriching the spirit life. Governments of all countries have also worked out pertinent policies,laws and regulations to make sure of people's enjoying the leisure time.So,leisure life is an important part of human beings' life,which is also a field that human beings' life surely shows solicitude for.As far as middle school students are concerned,with the national adjustment of working time,the national propulsion of quality education,and the gradual implement of new curriculum reform,the leisure time of middle school students is increasing gradually,which should be beneficial for the students,but has aroused many problems. On one hand,the leisure time is made used of by the parents and the teachers who assign extra woks to the students.Thus the leisure time is not controlled by the students themselves,hence becoming their pressure.On the other hand,the student cannot make good use of the leisure time.They spend it in surfing the internet,playing games and watching TV,which is harmful to the physical and mental development of middle school students.Moreover,even if the students are ready to make their leisure time meaningful,the families,schools and communities cannot provide them with proper guides and lack for material conditions to meet their leisure life needs.Therefore,how to cultivate the students' leisure values,rational knowledge of leisure time,effective use of it,and technical abilities in hand,has become the problem that the leisure education course needs to concentrate on.Therefore,the thesis mainly employs document research method,showing the development of leisure activity in human history,summing up the modern leisure theories,and striving to construct the leisure-education curriculum system for our country's middle school.The thesis explores the leisure concept,leisure thoughts' changes,leisure theory,the course target,content,implement and assessment of middle school leisure education,bringing forward the author's thinking and cognition.The author expects to provide certain research and application basis for leisure education walking into the middle school course to improve middle school students' leisure life and push forward life-long education and the learning society.
