It is not only a need for the quality education but also a new demand the social economic development makes to them to improve the qualities of chemistry teachers in middle school.The thesis will analyze the actuality of the middle school chemistry teachers in GuiYang from age, experiences of study, professional rank, and ability of education and teaching structure of knowledge. On base of that, according to professor YeLan′s opinion, it has constituted the system of quality namely professional spirits, ideas of education and professional knowledge, ability and intelligence.The modern middle school chemistry teachers must hold the spirit of love of their profession, the enthusiastic service, the responsibility and the spirit of research. And meanwhile, they must have the modern ideas of the educational value, educational process, educational quality and evaluation and green chemistry experiment, and so on. Chemistry teachers′profession knowledge include: chemistry professional knowledge system, the knowledge of chemistry experimental theory, the knowledge of chemistry history and chemistry methodology. Education science and psychology is the basic condition for chemistry teachers to carry out their teaching and training activities successfully.The professional abilities are the ones that fit for the teaching it will emphasize the special abilities of the teachers, that is, the ability of chemistry experiment teaching as well as the research ability and the ability of applying to the modern education technique. So, it is a necessary to accomplish the professional spirits to take forceful measure to emphasize the construction of teacher virtue. At the same time, the theory of education is closely relative to the correcting of educational thoughts, the forming of modern sense and concept. To educate the new pattern chemistry teachers in the 21st century, we must go far into the educational reform and actively find more ways to train the teachers and improve the degree of specialty. This is the key to educate the modern school teacher's qualities. The purpose of studying the qualities of teachers is to constitute a perfect scientific system, to improve their qualities and to meet the demand of the development of the times and the demand of carrying out the quality education. It will base on improving the educational quality and educating the high creative intellectuals.
