With the development of modern education, education action research has already become a specific concept among the teachers.Education action research is a special form of problem-solving during the teaching process; it is a course of motile and prudent cognizing and processing; it possesses the characteristics of independent practicing, theory-applying, holistic cooperating and dynamic forming.It is significant for advancing the professional accomplishment of teachers and forming the teachers'collective professional confidence. Meanwhile, it is also an important way for the teachers'professional development.The basic theories of chemistry is the important component of the middle school chemistry course and it is also the key point of chemistry teaching. Due to its rigorous logicality and high abstractness, it has become the rub of chemistry for the students.In the setting of the New Curriculum, in order to strengthen the teaching of the basic chemistry theories, teachers need to search for new teaching plans that are more beneficial to the students'learning on the basis of thorough understanding of both the teaching materials and the students.With the aim to study the teaching content about"the conditions that affect the balance of chemical reactions"in middle school basic chemistry theories, with the guiding of education theories and according to the standard requirements of the New Curriculum, this paper carries out three turns of circular action research by implementing the education action research method which integrates theory and practice, and puts problem-solving in the first place,This paper aims to give teachers some references and offer some information resources for both the theory study of middle school chemistry teaching design and education action research, so as to promote the effective implementation of the New Curriculum.This paper includes four parts, and the content and the outcome of each part are as follows:The question-raising part gives a brief introduction about the origin of the paper, and the content and significance of the research.The literature review part interprets the origin and development of action research, and its definition and characteristics, its study model and significances as well.The third part—the body part, taking the lesson of"the conditions that affect the balance of chemical reactions"as an example, analyses the procedure and the process of action research, and explores the methods of teaching design in action research.The last part draws a conclusion according to the case study of action research on teaching design of basic chemistry theories.
