Since Flavell raised the concept of metacognition in 1976, Psychologists and educationists both at home and abroad have done a great many researches on the subject, and greatness teachers have do many expatiation in cultivation of metalearning ability according to their instructing activities. But there is little experimental study for the education of chemical metalearning ability on general review for entrance examination to university at home.The paper mainly studied the effectiveness of chemical metalearning strategy training on students' ability of chemical metalearning on general review for college entrance examination. The study is steered by the theories of contemporary metalearning and the thought of reform of new basic course. The experiment will based on 122 senior 3 students coming from the Northeast Normal University Affiliated Middle School, Changchun, Jilin, China. The experiment design of experiment-group and control-group before and after training, the students were trained by mean of chemical metalearning strategy composed by authors. The purpose is probed into if the conscious train would influence student's achievement and ability on chemical metalearning and if there is distinct difference on the effectiveness of the experimental training between the students in different ability group. Training time lasted 12weeks.The results showed that the senior middle school students who had trained on chemical metalearning strategy have made an obvious improvement on achievement and ability of chemical metalearning, and the effectiveness of the experimental training on the group of middle ability is the most obvious in three groups divided by authors.So in the process of instructing if' only we consciously strengthen the trainon the chemical metalearning strategy, can we promptly improve student'simprovement on achievement and ability of chemical metalearning.
