Metaleaming theory is developed on the basis of metacognition research.It focuses on teaching the students the ways to perform self-consciousness, self-assessment and self-adjustment in their learning. The learning effect depends much on the students' metaleaming ability.Based on Metaleaming theory and According to the law of learning process,This research Established some teaching principles of metaleaming ability training and the teaching project. It was carried out in the following steps: Pre-learning,show students the four factors affecting the Physics learning result; In-learning, strengthen their consciousness about the Physics learning process; After-learning, ask the students to reflect on what they did.To explore how the metaleaming ability training affect metaleaming ability,academic performance of physics,the study interest and the study manner of the students,about 90 students (forty-five in each)of two classes in Junior Grade Two in No.6 Middle School of Quanzhou in their second year were investigated. Results indicated that:In general,among the students of Junior Grade Two,high-achieving students,average-achieving students and low-achieving students present from high to low variety trend on metaleaming ability,average-achieving students and low-achieving students did not differ significantly on it,however, high-achieving students and average-achieving students differed significantly on it; Metaleaming ability training developed remarkably 8th-grade students' metaleaming ability.lt had different influence on different level students in their physics learning. To the students of medium level,the influence was most significant,however,it was not significant to high-achieving students and low-achieving students;The effect of metaleaming ability training mainly reflected in their improvement in preparation, execution, reflectivity and complementarity. It strongly reflected in average-achieving students' improvement in preparation, strategy, execution, reflectivity and complementarity;Metalearning ability training could improve the study interest and the study manner of physics,it also made rapid progress in academic performance of physics,specially to average-achieving students. |
