With the coming of the Age of Information Technology, the geography teaching meets with new challenges. The research of geography teaching under the conditions of multimedia is a new subject which all geography teachers are facing now. How to make the traditional teaching methods better blended together with the modern ones in the Age of Information Technology so as to serve the geography teaching in junior middle school and how to make the "3 boards" and the multimedia aiding teaching methods well integrated are the subject that the reality provides us with.The core of this research is to attempt to make the "3 boards" geography teaching methods of junior middle school and the multimedia aiding teaching methods well integrated. The ways which this research follows are: First, analyzing the documents, establishing the ground work, to set the research directions, providing the lessons for history; Second, to conduct the relative investigations, analyzing the current conditions and finding out the problems; Third, by analyzing the use of the teaching methods, the problems will be explored and the proofs will be gained; Last, by concluding and reasoning, the basic conclusion will be made and the integrated advice will be given.This research is to try making the theory well blended with the practice according to the integration rules of the geography "3 boards" and the multimedia. And it will be meaningful in guiding the geography teaching methods of the junior middle school, optimizing the teaching courses, improving the teaching efficiency and realizing the continuing development of the teaching methods.
