In China, vocational college education has been greatly promoted recently with the development of science, technology, industry and social economy. From 1998 to 2005, the recruit students in technical colleges increased 4 times from 540,000 to 2,680,000; and the on-campus students in them increased 5 times from 1,170,000 to 7,130,000, so in scale, technical college education has been played a vital role in our advanced education. Also, it has cultivated a great number of advanced technical talents, which has greatly eased the tension of talents shortage in our society. Despite all these, the training quality of vocational college education is not as good as we had expected. The Prime Minister Wen Jiabao has ever noted, "We should take efforts to improve the education standard and quality of vocational colleges with the guidance of employment demanding", which just intends us that our attention should be paid to the internal development of the vocational education while the college scale is extended. As a management member of a vocational college, I have seen the recruit extension in advanced colleges and experienced in collaboration and management about school-enterprise cooperation, which helps me access to the first-hand data on school-enterprise cooperation education. In this paper, take the gaps between the training demand of enterprise and the training reality of vocational education into consideration, on the basis of employment investigation on graduates of Shanghai Electronics and Information Technical College, from the view of enterprise demanding, it discusses about the transformation on training model in vocational colleges and tries to elaborate on the reasons why there is a great gap between the training demand of enterprise and the training reality of technical colleges and it also hopes to analyze the strategies the government can employ in the colleges as well as enterprises in order to fill the gap. Besides, the paper promotes a blueprint of a training model for the vocational colleges which can adjust to enterprise demanding.Recently there has been a lot of research on the training objects, curriculum systems about vocational education, most of which is based on the single point of colleges, not the cooperative outcome from the enterprise and the college. The paper, in turn, discusses about the transformation of training model from the enterprise's point. It finds out that there is a structural misplacement between the training demand of enterprise and the training reality of college, which lies in the factors outside the colleges, such as the policy directions of the government, the certified qualification admittance, etc., and the factors inside the colleges as well, such as the teaching staff development, the teaching contents, the construction of training center, etc.. The paper attempts to promote some suggestions about the transformation of training model in vocational colleges by analyzing the gap between the training demand of enterprise and the training reality of college.
