As one of educational factors, the educational environment plays the important roles on the process and its effect of educational activities. The arrival of network age makes the educational environment in which students of colleges and universities of the time are involved turn into the co-existence of the traditional educational environment and the virtual one of the network rather than either of them. Network has been related to the life and study of students of colleges and universities and also has changed ways of their learning, living and socializing, even changed their ideas, notions and spiritual world deeply. The effects on the students' mental health are very complicated, which include the positive ones and the negative ones. The network techniques have spread over the different fields of the society quickly, and the campuses of colleges and universities have been the dense places of internet work households in our country. It's a new subject that the education of mental health of the students confronts how to avoid the negative effects of network environment, how to take good use of its positive effects and advantages to strengthen the education of mental health of the students and improve the psychological quality of them with the strong intervention of the new environment. This thesis makes a pilot study on the macro-strategy of the mental health of the college students in our country and set up a set of educational strategy system of the mental health of the students based on the network environment in the ways of literature and activity studies in order to probe into how to develop a good educational environment of the students' mental health by using the network, strengthening the work of their education of mental health and improve the ability of self-maintaining their mental health after the intervention of network environment. The main contents which this thesis studies are as follows:The first chapter mainly focuses on the background to study this project, the current situation of its study at home and abroad and significance of the project. The second chapter discusses the principle, ways, institutions, teachers, contents of the education of mental health of the students, etc. under the traditional environment and analyzes the network of the education of mental health of the students at present. The third chapter analyzes characteristics of the network, the positive effects and advantages brought about by ways of mental health education of the students, institutions, teachers' quality, educational contents, classroom teaching, acquisition of knowledge of mental health, maintenance of mental health etc. The fourth chapter puts forward the specific strategies of institution building of the students' education of mental health, teachers' training, classroom teaching, resources' optimizing, acquisition of the relevant knowledge, self-maintaining of mental health etc. The fifth chapter constructs a set of educational system based on the mental health education under the network environment and summarizes the effects of the strategies' application.
