This thesis, attaching importance to practicality of geography Teaching On Natives (GTON)in ordinary middle school, will explicit the ground of arguments in four aspects:First, Geography Teaching On Natives is represented on the base of psychology, philosophy and pedagogy, although it is used in ordinary middle school ,in which the decisive factor of Geography Teaching On Natives is a must of the basic curriculum reform and of the construction of the local geography teaching in min he Qinghai, as well as the regional development.Second, Geography Teaching On Natives embodies the national quality-oriental education in the regional geography teaching, which is exam lied in fostering the learners new ways of thinking in practical activity of local geography teaching .Besides, it can raise the learners passion of patriotism, morality and sound personality, parceling with the capability of communication and cooperate as well as the interest of studying geography.Third, in the perspectives of school ,teachers and textbooks, the thesis concluded that Geography Teaching On Natives will be gradually perfect in the course of practicing in the county of minority.Finally, the writer summarized the sound effect made during the implement of geography teaching on Natives, in which the parents and social members took part besides the colleagues. And which developed the learner's ability to explore the question. Meanwhile, the new teaching inspired learners to solve the problems in hand, by means of textbook knowledge, and to strengthen .the sense of their own group. What more, the concepts from the teachers have been further intensified?Geography is a practical curriculum and is an important component of practical ability of students. The practical ability of student at least contains those : observation ability , the ability of drawing maps using hands , operating geography instrument ability , field observation ability , environmental investigation and social visiting ability ,the collection and interpretation ability of geographical information ,the analysis and predication ability of geographic environment ,the ability of obtaining knowledge in geography practice , conducting scientific research ability , the ability of using the geography knowledge to analyzing the problem ,the ability of solving the actual problem and so on.The teachers take new teaching pattern , method and design idea in teaching process, so it challenges the traditional teaching theory and ideas ,under this situation, a new learning theory ---Constructivism is formed ,at the same time , a mew teaching pattern ,method and design concepts is formed to adapt constructive Learning Theory.
