Research On The Actual Effects Of Life-Caring Moral Education In Universities

In the Third Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee, our Party has put forward the point that sets up an all-round, harmonious, sustainable development with people-oriented, promotes economic growth and comprehensive human development. In the Sixth Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee, the Decision has further put the people-oriented as an important principle to build up a socialist harmonious society. The scientific idea of the people-oriented is not only a new value orientation, but also a cardinal principle in the higher education. On the base of investigation and actual effects of moral education, the author put forward the idea of life-caring moral education. Affected by the traditional education essential, the present practice of moral education in universities attaches more importance to its social function and value, but neglects the university students' all-round development and life-caring value they pursuit. That makes the moral education lack of actual effects. Therefore, the moral education in universities should base on the people-oriented idea, and use Marxist views to affirm human, pay importance on life-caring education. The life-caring not only cares about the individual life of university students and promotes the life value of them, but also guides the students to care their life goal properly and promotes the students' all-round development. Last, the article has put forward measures to carry out life-caring and enforce the actual effects. In detail, the moral educators should base on the goal of the students' all-round development, enrich the moral content to meet the need of students, improve the students-oriented method of acceptance, promote their own quality, and continuously reinforce the moral education's practicality.
