The teachers' development issue becomes a significant topic of the world teaching education development. The research of teachers' development concerns many fields, one of which is the new concept of independent development of teachers. However, the system research on teachers' independent development is inadequate, even less the P.E teacher.By using the research methods of empirical study, theoretical analysis and case study, and on the base of analyzing the current materials and investigation data, the main objective of this paper is to analyze how the P.E teacher developed independently, to find out the influence factors of P.E teachers' development, and to put forward some solutions of solving the problems occurred in the process of independent development of P.E teachers, which can provide some references for the professional development of P.E teachers and the development of school P.E education, and provide some theoretical and practical basis for the cultivation, management of teacher and the promotion of teaching quality.The subjects were the P.E teachers and teaching and research personnel of advanced senior high school of every local of Zhejiang province that attended the training courses of new curriculum. The conclusions were gained from 179copies of valid questionnaires analyzed by using SPASS13.0 and combined with individual cases, conclusions are drawn:I .The general result of the independent development of Zhejiang province's senior high school P.E teachers is relatively satisfied. No significant differences were found in the variables of sex, position, school type, title, educational background and teaching age, except region. On the variable of school type, significant difference only existed by independent behavior.II .The consciousness of independent development of Zhejiang province's senior high school P.E teachers should be promoted, and lots of teachers lacked the consciousness of independent development.III. The ability of independent development of Zhejiang province's senior high school P.E teachers is inadequate, which inflected mainly on the ability of teaching reflection, the ability of innovation and research and the ability of development charting.IV. Insufficient lifting force and lacking developing atmosphere are the difficulty faced by the professional development of teachers. In the environmental sector, the difficulty is that little attentions put on professional development of P.E teachers by school leaders, and the system guarantee and incentive mechanisms needed in the professional development of P.E teachers were unsound. The suggestions of this paper are:I .In the personal sector, Zhejiang province's senior high school P.E teachers should strengthen the consciousness of independent development, promote the ability of independent development and carry self-evaluation properly.II .In the environmental sector, department in charge should provide a driven platform of independent development of P.E teacher, and optimize the training model.
