The Peasant's Rationality In The Perspective Of The Implement Of Land Confiscation System

There are many perspectives in the research on the peasant's rationality. But, in a word, these researches focused on two extremes: peasant rationality in the traditional society and the modern society. These analyzes can provide perspective to us for better understanding of Chinese peasant's rationality. But the special condition of china decides the special development of Chinese peasant's rationality. The research object of this article is the peasant's rationality in the period of china open and reform. During this period of china, the society experienced the transformation from the planning economy to the marketing economy. Under the rapid change of social structure, the rationality of Chinese peasant develops in its own way.The rationality in this article is this kind of activity: the actor has intention, clear goal and means. This rationality not only reflected on the pursuit of economic interest maximization, but also on the actor using flexible ways to reach the goal.The peasant's rationality itself is very abstract, through reviewing the stories happened in the land confiscation; this article discussed the peasant's rationality and the factors affecting it. Through analyzing these three questions: peasant self-determination; the delaminating of peasant rationality; individual rationality and collectivity rationality, this article gets such conclusions: peasant's rationality is income maximization oriented; the delamination happened inside the peasant; peasant's rationality is still under the shadow of state rationality.This article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is the framework of whole research, including research cause, the definition of concept, the case selecting and the research methods. The second chapter is the description of stories happened in the land confiscation and the following analyzes. The third chapter is the part of conclusion. This article considers that the peasant's rationality in modern china has three characteristics: peasant's rationality is income maximization oriented; the delamination happened inside the peasant; peasant's rationality is still under the shadow of state rationality.
